1. The Agreement
These terms apply between Cabanga Africa Group (Pty) Ltd and every school that uses PEO. By signing up, or by using PEO, the school accepts them. The person who signs up confirms that they are authorised to bind the school.
2. The Service
PEO gives the school every module listed on the Features page, the family portal, a school website, hosting, daily backups, upgrades and support for its staff. New features are added to every school at no extra cost.
3. Fees
PEO costs R85 per learner per year, billed once a year in advance. The learner count is the number of active learners on the register when the year is invoiced. Learners who join during the year are added to the next annual invoice. Onboarding is a once-off R3 500, waived when the school pays the year upfront. Prices are in South African rand.
4. Payment
Invoices are payable within 14 days. If an invoice is unpaid 30 days after its due date, we may limit the school's access to read-only until it is paid. We never delete a school's records for late payment.
5. Term and Renewal
The agreement runs for a year from the date of the first invoice and renews each year unless either side gives 30 days' written notice before the renewal date. Cancellations and refunds are set out in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
6. The School's Responsibilities
The school is responsible for the accuracy of what it captures, for deciding who receives a user account and what role they hold, for keeping passwords private, and for having a lawful basis under POPIA for the information it records about learners, families and staff.
7. The School's Information
The school owns its records. We use them only to provide PEO to that school. The school can export its records at any time, and on leaving it receives a full export.
8. Availability and Support
We aim to keep PEO available at all times and schedule maintenance outside school hours where possible. Support is by email on working days.
9. Liability
PEO is a tool the school uses to run its own administration. The school remains responsible for the decisions it makes with it, including marks, reports, fees and payroll. Our total liability in any year is limited to the fees the school paid for that year, except where the law does not allow such a limit.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
